Many Thanks to Katz93 for his original work! -------------------------------------------------------- // Bugs fixed: [27/09/2010] 8. Remove apple logos in the start menu. edited bitmaps 875 and 876 using resource hacker
[31/08/2010] Fixed a small bug with on-hover behavior.
[31/08/2010] 7. Taskbar notifications now work, as well as progress bars and the rest of the taskbar functionality.
a. In order for the taskbar progress bars and notification to work, the images should have some level of transparency. b. The relevant image files are 1150, 1151, 1152, 1153 (1151-1153 are identical) in the .msstyle file. c. I've used Resource Hacker (x64) to extract the images, and The Gimp "Colors->Colors to alpha" and "Tools->Color tools->Hue-Saturation" to add transparency and try and fix the colors. d. SuperbarMonitor was used to test the tasbar progress bars. d. The current color scheme post transparency is not very pretty, so I've attached both the previous version (p4) and the current version (p5). I'm not much of an artist, so contributions will be much appreciated
[28/08/2010] Uploaded wrong version (one without jagged library separator), fixed.
[28/08/2010] 5. Fake search button wastes space, removed. Pickyaxe: Windows Style Builder, Taskbar & System Tray > System Tray > Basic > Clock on Windows Style Builder - Used Aero's highlight instead
Note: Tequilla uses a font called Klavika. Anyone got it?
[25/08/2010] The VS should be there now
[25/08/2010] removed fake indents on the right and left of the taskbar Right: bitmap 921, 923 in the .msstyle file left: bitmap 1264 in the msstyle .It's the "Show Desktop" button, so I've added on-hover and on-click behaviours.
[24/08/2010] 4. Removed fake slide bar from the status bar (resource 887 in the .mssstyle file)
[23/08/2010] 2. Allow changing font size without getting the text in the tree view cut off (the original had Segoe UI font hardcoded at 8px)
-------------------------------------------------------------- // To do / worklog:
1. Back/forward buttons not aligned to the address bar: the back/forward buttons are 1px lower than the address bar, and have different shading. I've tried editing it using resource hacker and the Gimp, but the buttons are still 1px too low. Windows limitation?
3. Shading makes menu harder to read. What are the relevant resources?
6. Scrollbars leave little space on top. Need to find some replacement. What are the relevant resources?
I'm using JONGHYUNPARK currently and it's cool - but honestly, i was gonna use Tequilla instead, until i saw the freaking Apple logos everywhere, it put me off massively! (just as everyone else here i guess)
I've downloaded it and i'll probably use it sometime soon. Thanks for improving Katz93's awesome, but previously scarred VS!
I'm currently looking into it. I'd love to have milky-white semi-transparency. Can you please find out what are the relevant resources/ properties? The more information we've got, the faster features can be added.
By the way, "fake search button" (the Spotlight button on the taskbar) is Taskbar & System Tray > System Tray > Basic > Clock on Windows Style Builder (I'm not sure about the resource number, but WSB lists it as "IMAGE#1216").
Also it may be a good idea to remove the Apple logo from the start menu.

Tequilla is a really good visual style but the constant nods to Apple that litter it were bad enough to make me not use it.
BTW my last exam is on Wednesday
As for your exam: Good luck tomorrow!
